5) Set the date: – It’s all very well saying you’re going to stop smoking but you must set a date in black and white. Tell your friends and family that you will be associated with so they can respect it.
6) Ensure you remain busy: – On the day you quit you will feel anxious but by keeping busy you will think less and less about smoking. Become physically active in exercises that involve concentration to keep the mind and body occupied. Drinking plenty of water will also keep you hydrated and alert at all times.
It’s not too late to quit smoking. Give yourself the benefit of a longer, healthier and happier life while you still have a chance.
